Job purpose:

Candidate will be responsible for the internal design stakeholder’s coordination & support in delivery of all ICT, Security and ELV services assignment for several market projects across various global projects. Candidates need to demonstrate awareness of major ELV services, covering a spectrum from, containment design, ICT, ELV, Security and IBMS layout modelling in several types of projects ranging from commercial, health care, IT/Transport buildings, schools, residential buildings, and mixed-use large-scale developments. Additionally, possess a robust understanding of plumbing and HVAC services and be adept at developing collaborative MEP layouts.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Scope identification and project coordination between internal MEP Stakeholders for collaborative Design environment.

• Support to provide design solutions for technical/Modelling issues in relation to areas of ICT, Security and ELV systems design.

• Awareness of ICT, Security and ELV system design as per Standards TIA/EIA, BS, BICSI, TRA, SIRA, TDRA Standards.

• Awareness on developing suitable schematics and further detailing with End-to-end design for ICT, Security and ELV systems.

• Model Building and Modelling/production of drawings of ICT, Security and ELV systems for all types of buildings/Infrastructures.

• Sound knowledge of BIM Standards/LODs/QAQC procedures/Clash coordination etc.

Candidate specification:

• BE / BTech / MTech - Electrical / Instrumentation/ Electronics

• Good practical understanding and experience of 5+ years in ICT, Security and ELV industry with proficient written and verbal communication skills.

• Good understanding of various MEP systems related to HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, etc.

• Design acumen for Smart Services and Building management system will be an added advantage.

• Active & Passive networking system understanding will be an added advantage.

• Experience in Middle East, US, & UK projects with BIM standards & BIM Execution Plan will be an added advantage.

• Proficient hands-on experience on Autodesk Revit and BIM360/ACC/Navisworks would be mandatory wherein awareness on Bentley MicroStation, Open Building Design, Aecosim, Dynamo will be an added advantage. To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate the following competencies.

• Awareness on IT and standard industry software skills, including Wi-Fi Heat Mapping, IP Video Simulation, PA/BGM speaker simulation, BIM, and other digital platforms.

• Continuously looking for innovations and improvements to manage workload and accomplish deliverables across individuals, teams, and projects

• Resolute collaborator with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels including external stakeholders.

• Adopting an initiative-taking approach towards complex tasks and overall delivery within stipulated timeframes.

• Preparation of layout drawings and schematic diagrams for ICT/ELV services in line with desired quality standards.

• Be able to manipulate Revit family’s creation, views, browser structure, sheets, schedules, filters, and similar Revit functions.
