Responsibilities: -

  • Lead and mentor discipline heads across Electrical, Piping, Mechanical, Civil, Structural & Architecture, Process, and Instrumentation.
  • Build and sustain a high-performing engineering organization with a strong focus on collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Drive talent development, succession planning, and performance management across engineering functions.
  • Define and implement engineering strategies aligned with business goals and client expectations.
  • Ensure technical integrity, compliance with industry standards, and quality assurance across all engineering deliverables.
  • Oversee design reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering initiatives.
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for engineering execution across multiple industrial projects.
  • Collaborate with Project Directors, Business Development, and Operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with the PPI division on jointly owned projects to ensure integrated planning, design coordination, and execution.
  • Align engineering strategies with project management frameworks to deliver cohesive and efficient project outcomes.
  • Participate in joint reviews, milestone planning, and risk assessments to ensure shared accountability and transparency.
  • Support the development of unified reporting structures and performance metrics for cross-functional project teams.
  • Monitor project KPIs, resource utilization, and budget adherence.
  • Serve as the senior technical representative in client engagements, presentations, and negotiations.
  • Build strong relationships with key clients, regulatory bodies, and industry partners.
  • Champion continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Promote adoption of emerging technologies and sustainable engineering practices.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to provide accurate technical inputs and resource estimates for proposals, tenders, and client submissions.
  • Assist in defining project scopes, deliverables, and timelines to support cost estimation and resource allocation during the bidding phase.
  • Provide detailed breakdowns of engineering hours, team composition, and effort estimation based on project complexity and past benchmarks.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Chemical discipline).
  • Experience in engineering consultancy services, with senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing large, multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering complex industrial projects.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, safety standards, and sustainability practices in industrial sectors.
