Geotechnical Technician

Our teams take an active part in foreign and national infrastructure projects, specializing in transport planning, highways, geotechnics, water, environment, tunnels, and foundations.

As a Geotechnical Technician intern, you will assist in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of soil, rock, and groundwater data. Your role will support geotechnical engineers in various projects, ensuring the stability and safety of construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Field Work: Assist in conducting site investigations, including soil sampling, drilling, and in-situ testing.
• Laboratory Testing: Perform laboratory tests on soil and rock samples to determine their physical and mechanical properties.
• Data Analysis: Help analyze test results and prepare reports under the supervision of senior technicians and engineers.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that field and laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines during field and laboratory activities.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related program.
• Basic understanding of soil mechanics and geotechnical principles.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work in outdoor environments and travel to various sites.
