Mott MacDonald is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Document Controller to join our Calgary office. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals passionate about document management and eager to grow within a dynamic project environment. The successful candidate will support the coordination, tracking, and quality assurance of project documentation, ensuring compliance with internal standards and client requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing incoming and outgoing documents, including tracking, distribution, and delivery.
  • Working directly with project teams coordinating and transmitting deliverables to clients in a time-sensitive manner.
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual and quality assurance requirements for document control.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve document-related issues raised by project teams.
  • Supporting continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
  • Other duties as required to support project administration.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in a document control or administrative role.
  • Familiarity with document control principles, including version control and retrieval systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks across various projects.
  • Knowledge and experience with SharePoint, Adobe Bluebeam and ProjectWise is an asset.
