Join our dynamic team as a Learning and Development Assistant. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in planning, coordinating, and implementing innovative training and development initiatives across the Middle East. With a special focus on graduate development, you'll help shape the future of our workforce by empowering the next generation of leaders.

Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:

  • Support the HR team with administrative support such as planning and coordinating tasks such as learning and development initiatives and training programmes, specifically graduate development across the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

  • Co-ordinate and organise training programmes including liaising with training providers and scheduling training dates

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, and externally with providers, experts and peers to establish the best approach

  • Support the talent acquisition team with the running of graduate recruitment campaigns.

  • Work closely with educational establishments and professional institutions relevant to our industry and lead engagement activities, in coordination with our ECP and Excellence Leads.

  • Maintain updated employee records including but not limited to training programmes, professional memberships and educational support.

  • Keep up to date on industry trends to develop and leverage new and innovative learning approaches

 

Candidate Specification: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree qualified; professional certifications/qualifications in a relevant HR/L&D field would be advantageous 
  • Experience with the development and coordination of training programmes including the research and development of programme curriculum
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and learning management systems (preferably SAP SuccessFactors) would be advantageous
  • Familiarity with the facilitation of live and virtual training.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - able to present and influence at all levels and build and develop strong trusting relationships.
  • Demonstrable project management skills with the ability to define scope, deliver results in a fast-paced, continuously changing business environment.
  • Effective time management skills, able to quickly and effective resolve issues.
