Job purpose:
Candidates need to demonstrate strong leadership skills which will include but not limited to Project management, Bid Support, business excellence and client communications for ICT, Security and ELV Systems in line with client’s specifications and business guidelines. Candidate will be responsible to collaborate with internal & external design stakeholders on project for successful submission on all ICT, Security and ELV domain assignments for various market projects across various global regions.

Duties and responsibilities:
• Scope Identification, Design, supporting reports/drawings and specification for ELV building services, supporting bid process, peer review.
• Client facing/client relationship/client management skills and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Project management skills to include budget control, interdisciplinary coordination, good Client service skills and ability to meet Client requests and deadlines within budget
• Design delivery and team management along with End-to-end design experience for ICT, Security and ELV systems.
• As an expert, the candidate will also be required to attend and provide input in design meetings, clear advice to clients, architects, and engineers (internal and external) on design principles/issues relating to greenfield & brownfield projects.
• ICT, Security and ELV system design as per international Standards TIA/EIA, BS, BICSI, TRA, SIRA, ADMCC, TDRA.
• Evaluate and advise on ICT, Security and ELV related design changes and non-conformations to ensure fulfilment of the requirements.
• Developing suitable Schedules, Calculations & schematics, and further detailing in line with design requirement.
• Performing all aspects of ICT/ELV engineering design as a lead engineer, including Conceptual Studies, Program Requirements, Design Analyses, Calculations, Equipment selection and layout, and System selection and layout for building design and site ICT/ELV utilities
• Sound experience of other MEP Systems.
• BIM/Revit/ACC Overview, coordination, Navisworks design review & Design collaboration skills.
Candidate specification & Technical Expertise:
• BE / BTech / MTech - Electrical / Instrumentation/ Electronics.
• 15+ years of work experience with ICT, Security and ELV system design involvements.
• Awareness of Autodesk CAD, Revit and BIM/ACC would be mandatory. Awareness on Bentley MicroStation, Aecosim & Open Building Design platforms will be an additive advantage.
• Expertise in Cisco/HP or equivalent Active networking system understanding or any relevant certifications (CCNA/CCNP etc.) will be an added advantage.
• Passive Networking infrastructure, Structured Cabling (FO, Copper) expertise with BISCI RCDD/ DCDC/ CTS or relevant chartership will be an added advantage.
• Design acumen for Smart Services and Building management system will be an added advantage.
• Strong design understanding of following building systems would be required:
1. Local Area Network (LAN) (ICT Network Switches, Routers, Wi-Fi, Topology, Firewall, Cyber Security, Video Conference etc.).
2. Electronic Access Control System (general Access control, Gate Barriers, Turnstile, Visitor Management etc.).
3. Intrusion Detection System (IDS/PIDS, Buried, Fiber Optic, Microwave, Motion, Glass Break).
4. Public Address & General Alarm (Speakers, Sounder, Beacon, Array).
5. Closed Circuit Television System (CCTV, Analytics, Server & Storage, VMS, & NAS/SAN).
6. Building Management Systems (BMS Architecture, Controllers with Modbus, BACnet, LON & OPS protocols, DMS & SCADA).
7. Radio (AM/FM, TETRA) & GSM Infrastructure.
8. PABX, Intercom, Paging, IP Telephone.
9. Smart services and associated integrations.
