Your Opportunity
Our Defence and Security Division team within our Australian business are looking for Project Managers to manage our multidisciplinary design projects supporting infrastructure in Australia - The Project Deliver Services (PDS). As well as leading these new and existing projects, this position will play an active role in improving our project management processes and approach, driving both delivery excellence and efficiency in our business.
The primary responsibility of this position is to successfully support the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects in Maritime, Civil infrastructure and a multitude of specialist services across the Defence Estate heavily. The role is to be based in Adelaide.
- Deliver project scopes on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards in a Defence environment.
- Foster collaboration across internal project teams and delivery partners
- Proactively manage issues, drive decision making, and lead resolution pathways
- Evaluate and mitigate risks for our Defence clients
- Manage and support technical and quality assurance activities relating to the design and safety analysis of Defence infrastructure
- Provide mentorship to staff seeking to develop their knowledge and experience in delivery of major infrastructure projects.
- The ability to undertake overnight travel to project locations.
About You
- 5+ years of experience leading Defence project delivery in the fields of building services, civil or maritime.
- Tertiary qualifications relevant to project management or engineering disciplines desirable
- Citizen of Australian and ability to achieve a current AU security clearance
