About the role

Are you a seasoned civil engineer with a passion for shaping the future of infrastructure in Saudi Arabia? We’re looking for a Senior Principal Wet Utilities to lead the technical delivery of water, wastewater, irrigation, and stormwater systems across high-impact projects.

This is a leadership role based in our Riyadh office, offering the opportunity to work on transformative developments and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

 

Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:

  • Lead design and documentation for wet utility systems across infrastructure and land development projects.
  • Oversee hydraulic modeling and calculations for pressurized and gravity systems.
  • Champion the use of BIM tools (e.g., Civil 3D) to enhance project delivery.
  • Ensure quality and timely delivery of wet utility components across a diverse project portfolio.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines to deliver integrated, best-practice design solutions.
  • Engage with clients, developers, and stakeholders to secure approvals and present proposals.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in design methodologies and delivery processes.
  • Support cost and quantity estimations for wet services.

 

Candidate specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Chartered Engineer status (CEng or equivalent) preferred.
  • 15+ years of post-graduate experience, ideally in a design consultancy.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Expertise in Civil 3D and hydraulic modeling of wet utility systems.
  • Proven track record in infrastructure projects within Saudi Arabia.
  • Deep understanding of local authority standards and approval processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a focus on innovation.
  • Willingness to travel for short-term assignments. #LI-SA2
