Senior Project Planner
Mott MacDonald is seeking a flexible and motivated Aviation Planner with a genuine passion for the aviation industry and a strong commitment to sustainability. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that shape the future of air transport infrastructure worldwide.
We’re looking for a professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to grow within a multidisciplinary team. You’ll be involved in a diverse range of aviation projects, supporting planning and design efforts across airfield, terminal, landside, and operational domains.

Qualifications & Skills
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
A degree in aeronautical engineering, civil engineering, architecture, airport planning, or air transport management. Candidates with backgrounds in economics, sustainability, finance, or business-related studies may also be considered.
10+ years of experience in planning
Professional experience in one or more technical areas of airport planning (e.g., airfield & apron, terminal, landside, utilities, airspace, operations) is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Competency in AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Familiarity with PowerBI or other data visualization tools.
Experience with tools such as AviPlan, Infraworks, Navisworks, Revit, or 3D visualization software is a plus.
Working knowledge of simulation and modeling tools for airfield and terminal facilities is advantageous.
Experience with building and running CAST simulations for terminal operations and passenger flow analysis is highly desirable.
