Role Summary
As a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our workforce by leading strategic and operational recruitment efforts across high-impact projects in energy, infrastructure, transport, industrial buildings and government/ World Bank-funded initiatives across India. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term talent acquisition strategies aligned with business growth, project timelines and workforce planning.
- Partner with senior leadership to anticipate talent needs across domestic projects and ensure proactive sourcing.
- Source and engage candidates across engineering, project management, and support functions using diverse channels. Conduct initial screenings to assess fit and potential.
- Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for current and future project needs, with a focus on niche and high-impact roles.
- Champion initiatives that position Mott MacDonald as an employer of choice in the project management and engineering consulting sectors.
- Own the end-to-end candidate journey from offer acceptance to onboarding, ensuring a smooth, engaging experience that minimizes dropouts and maximizes successful conversions.
- By partnering closely with hiring managers and HR teams, you’ll drive quality of hire through structured assessments, post-hire evaluations, and data-driven insights that continuously refine sourcing strategies and enhance hiring outcomes.
- Lead benchmarking exercises to ensure competitive compensation and benefits. Collaborate with HRBPs and business leaders to align offers with market trends and organizational philosophy.
- Monitor competitor hiring trends and deliver insights to refine sourcing strategies and enhance our value proposition.
- Conduct market analysis to identify skill availability and gaps. Maintain dynamic talent maps and dashboards to support strategic planning.
- Establish and promote recruitment best practices across sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and candidate experience.
- Drive continuous improvement using ATS and automation tools. Lead implementation of scalable recruitment technologies.
- Ensure recruitment practices align with Mott MacDonald’s standards, local labor laws and ethical principles.
- Track and report key recruitment metrics. Present strategic dashboards to leadership to support informed decision-making.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Divisional General Managers, Project Directors, Hiring Managers and HRBPs. Facilitate discussions on internal mobility, diversity hiring, and workforce planning.
- Lead recruitment projects and initiatives that foster collaboration, innovation and shared success.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- Recruitment experience, with strategic or senior advisory roles within project-based or consultancy environments.
- Proven success in recruiting for infrastructure, energy, transport or government/ World Bank-funded projects.
- Strong understanding of hiring processes and practices, labor laws and DEI principles.
- Experience with ATS platforms (SuccessFactors) and sourcing technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with engineering and construction project lifecycles.
- Ability to manage high-volume recruitment across multiple geographies.
