The Opportunity

 

We are seeking an experienced Transport Planner to play a key role in growing our Transport Planning capability in Queensland. This role offers the opportunity to lead emerging workstreams, collaborate with highly regarded local and global teams, and contribute to the delivery of complex, multidisciplinary transport projects. In this role, you will contribute to both project delivery and business growth, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders across Brisbane, ANZ, and our wider global network.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Participate in the development of work in new and emerging areas of transport planning

  • Supporting the identification and opening of new opportunities and building strong client relationships across Queensland

  • Working collaboratively with Brisbane, ANZ, and global transport planning teams

  • Contributing to winning work for the Transport Planning practice

  • Delivering high‑quality project outcomes, working independently where required

  • Contributing to projects across multiple disciplines, including transport planning, rail, transport and advisory

  • Keeping up to date with current and emerging thinking in transport planning

  • Actively participating in continuous professional development

  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members, contributing to their technical and professional growth

 

About you

 

  • Experience working in transport planning, ideally across a range of project types

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted client relationships

  • A collaborative mindset, with the confidence to work independently when required

  • An interest in innovation and emerging trends within the transport planning sector

  • Commitment to mentoring and supporting developing professionals
