Based in its London global headquarters, Andy will spearhead the growth and development of Mott MacDonald’s HCI business, which encompasses major engineering disciplines including bridges, tunnels, foundations and geotechnics, underground structures and specialist services.
The division has played a pivotal role in designing and delivering landmark complex transport projects such as the Elizabeth Line, Thames Tideway and HS2, and the team are currently focused on other major infrastructure schemes such as Lower Thames Crossing and Heathrow.
Andy will focus on expanding the HCI division’s footprint across the UK and Europe, with a particular emphasis on supporting the delivery of complex infrastructure projects. His remit includes strengthening client relationships, enhancing digital delivery and aligning the division’s capabilities with the evolving needs of the market.
Andy brings over 20 years of experience in the infrastructure sector, having held senior leadership roles at Costain, where he most recently served as integrated transport director. In that role, he led the development of multi-modal transport solutions, championed digital innovation and drove decarbonisation initiatives across the UK’s transport network. He also served as chair of Hydrogen South West, where he advanced cross-sector collaboration to accelerate the transition to green energy solutions across the hydrogen ecosystem.
