Mott MacDonald secures position on UK Department for Transport framework

A partnership between Mott MacDonald, Arcadis and CPCS has secured a position as prime consultant on the UK Department for Transport’s (DfT) new STARThree framework.

The new framework will replace the existing Specialist Technical Advisory for Rail and other modes (STARTwo) framework, which enables access to high quality, professionally qualified and experienced specialist third party advisory support for a range of service requirements.

After each individually supporting the DfT over the past four years via the STARTwo framework, the three firms have joined forces to provide an even greater strength and depth of professional expertise, as the DfT looks to expand the range of work undertaken through STARThree.

Through the new four-year framework, the trio will work collectively to supply a range of services covering:

• Transport planning and strategy 
• Transport operations advice 
• Commercial advice  
• Transport infrastructure advice 
• Transport programme advice
