How has your career progressed since joining?

Mott MacDonald has allowed me to completely transform and accelerate my career and opened opportunities based on my strengths and aspirations.

I joined the team as a structural engineer and now oversee defence projects across Australia. As part of my role, I particularly enjoy leading our internal capability and workforce growth for upcoming generational programs.

How do you demonstrate Technical Excellence in your work? 

I enjoy bringing best practice from around the world, to support our clients in Australia. There are many opportunities to connect with colleagues internationally to share technical skills and lessons learned on global projects. This helps to elevate our collective technical knowledge and enables us to deliver better outcomes for our defence clients.

Where in the world has your role taken you?

I’ve been fortunate to travel to the UK for our Emerging Leaders Programme, which was a fantastic opportunity to grow my leadership skills and expand my global network. Working in defence has provided ample opportunity to see Australia from a unique perspective, which I have enjoyed.

What are your career highlights and achievements?

I spent 15 years as a structural engineer and enjoyed leading various major projects across commercial, residential and government portfolios, which brought excellent outcomes for the community.

At Mott MacDonald, my highlight has been building trusted relationships with our clients across defence and working collaboratively with them to deliver lasting outcomes that will benefit the community for years to come.
