Biography

Dan is the state manager of our business in Queensland, Australia, and is our leader for transport across Asia Pacific, New Zealand and Australia. He is a civil engineer and design director who has extensive experience delivering major and complex multidisciplinary projects. Dan has been involved in the successful delivery of major suburban rail, light rail/mass transit and heavy haul railway projects across Australia and has been responsible for all elements of project delivery. He has strong experience in Alliancing, PPPs, and design and construct (D&C) style contract models and has been instrumental in securing major project wins during his time with Mott MacDonald.

Dan establishes strong and collaborative client relationships and is focused on delivering positive outcomes for stakeholders and the community through effective engagement whilst also managing the balance between key elements such architecture, public realm, functional and technical requirements on projects. His communication skills and strong focus on client delivery drives a collaborative environment and successful project outcomes.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and is a Chartered Professional Engineer. Dan also holds an associate degree of spatial science and is a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland.
