Sushma Chaudhary

Sushma is the vice president for international development for our South Asia business, and is focused on investments from international financial institutions, supporting key clients to drive sustainable long-term growth in South Asia.

Throughout her 24 years with Mott MacDonald she has held leadership roles, including providing subject matter expertise on climate and disaster resilience to many government and private sector clients. Specialising in large-scale infrastructure projects, her expertise lies in planning and designing climate-resilient buildings, integrated urban infrastructure and assessing climate change impacts.

Committed to resilient infrastructure, Sushma also aids in developing climate resilience frameworks and contributes to planning and designing resilient urban and transport sector projects. Well-versed in national and international best practices, she integrates sustainable development, nature-based solutions and green technologies to build climate resilient infrastructure.

Sushma holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology, Surat, and a professional certificate in construction and project management.
