Biography
Veena joined Mott MacDonald in 2002 as a project manager for power projects in India. As a senior vice president for our management consultancy division in South Asia, she is responsible for business development, driving profitable, sustainable growth, collaboration, best practice and strategic recruitment within the portfolio as well as generating revenue and managing operations.
With close to three decades of experience in this industry, Veena has worked with global and Indian clients in the renewable energy sector at various project stages – from concept to commissioning and operation.
Born and brought up in the Indian city of Bengaluru, Veena holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and technologies from Bangalore University and a bachelor’s degree in information technology as well as an advanced diploma in power distribution management systems from Indira Gandhi National Open University.
As a coach for our emerging leaders programme, Veena is passionate about people development and supporting individuals and teams to reach their fullest potential.
Veena enjoys travelling, cooking and is passionate about animals and pets.
