Biography
Wynton Habersham is Mott MacDonald’s market leader for rail systems and is based in New York City. In his role, he will lead the delivery of rail systems and train control professional services to clients in North America.
Wynton brings with him over 40 years of diverse transportation experience in capital project management, transportation operations, electrical/signals, and operations/design. Prior to joining Mott MacDonald, he held strategic leadership positions at MTA – New York City Transit and Construction & Development, McKissack, and most recently, HNTB.
Wynton’s career achievements include leading a workforce of 30,000 people to provide train service to nearly 6 million daily riders, commissioning for major New York City Transit expansions, and pioneering asset management strategies that transformed infrastructure reliability growth. He has lectured before transportation organizations across the United States, Canada, and in the United Kingdom, and is a former member of the New York MTA Board – Transit Committee. He currently serves on the New York Transit Museum Board of Directors.
