Job Profile: Assistant Manager Civil

We are looking for a well-organized site engineer/manager with strong technical leadership and communication skills to join our project management team in Assam.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing different aspects of construction.
  • Supervising contractor and sub-contractor works.
  • Ensuring all technical aspects of the projects are strictly complied with and in conformity with the conditions of the contract, specifications, drawings & BOQ.
  • Planning, monitoring, tracking, and reporting the progress of work regularly.
  • Developing action plans, corrective action plans, and recovery plans to support program delivery on time in coordination with PMO.
  • Running appropriate meetings with clients, contractors, and MM senior-level management.
  • Coordinating with Client operation and medical teams at the site for smooth execution.
  • Undertaking quality control and assurance checks.
  • Observing and reporting health and safety standards at the site.
  • Supporting PMO in preparing estimates for material costs.
  • Reviewing & validating contractor measurements/invoices at the site level.
  • Preparing JMR for the extra items/deviated items and sharing it with PMO from time to time.
  • Compiling information and submitting the same on a monthly basis for PMO MIS Report.

 

The Candidate Must Have:

  • Experience of working in a similar domain/organization (preferably execution of 50/100 bedded Hospital projects).
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Knowledge in understanding site layout drawings, structural drawings, interior drawings, technical specifications, bill of materials.
  • Conversant in all packages of structural, finishes, and working understanding of MEP services.
  • Experience in sub-structure, superstructure with high-end specification projects.
  • Working knowledge of project management best practices.
  • Solid communication and team working skills.
  • Good conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to navigate stressful work situations.
  • Adept at MS Office applications.

 

Minimum Criteria:

  • Qualification: BE/BTech.
  • Specialisation: Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: 8 to 10 Years.
  • Past Project Experience: Experience in high-end specification projects like 5-star hotels, hospitals, commercial buildings, residential buildings will be preferred.
  • Industry: Real Estate/Commercial Buildings/Healthcare.
  • Functional Area: Project Management.
