Your duties may include but may not be limited to:
Guiding design teams throughout all phases of the project, from bidding to completion
Responsible for the designing, drafting and checking to deliver design documentation according to schedule and budget
Responsibility for all aspects of assigned project work
Responsible for technical delivery projects, schedule and cost management, and establishing requirements along with delivery of the project
Coordinating delivery of integrated engineering design packages
Identifying and working collaboratively with relevant stakeholders
Development & management of project scope through requirements management activities
Delivery of packages following management of change and engineering change processes
Ensuring adequate provision, deployment and management of technical resources
Driving project performance, service delivery and technical and commercial outcomes
Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring that client delivery is above expectation
Ensuring that effective financial and project management controls are in place
We invite applications from candidates with the following experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar degree
Professional Engineer designation preferred, but minimum Engineer in Training designation required
2 to 3 years experience working on electrical design for rail projects
Experience preferred with traction power design (AC or DC) for rail projects
Proven team lead experience, with the ability to manage and mentor graduates
Experience working in or with a multi-disciplinary design consultancy
Strong IT skills
Capability to work to deadlines and work autonomously when required

Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.
The expected salary for this position is $89,000 - $108,000.
