Key Responsibilities

  • Update the investment program's Environmental Assessment and Review Framework (EARF) as required.
  • Update the Initial Environmental Examination (IEE) and Environmental Management Plan (EMP) for the project.
  • Prepare IEEs and EMPs for project components.
  • Supervise the implementation of the EMP.
  • Prepare monitoring reports on the final EMP and communicate with stakeholders, including ADB, regarding project progress and compliance with environmental protection standards.
  • Prepare semi-annual safeguards compliance reports.
  • Support the Implementation Assistance Specialist (IAS) in preparing periodic financing requests for project components.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in a relevant science subject.

Experience Requirements

  • General Work Experience: More than 7 years.
  • Specific Experience: At least 7 years of experience in road or large-scale infrastructure projects.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of environmental safeguards and compliance standards.
  • Ability to prepare and review environmental documentation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
