To support this mission, we are seeking a Finance Officer to join our dynamic finance team in Hong Kong. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring efficient financial operations, with a primary focus on Invoicing and Order to Cash processing. You will collaborate closely with a tight-knit Finance team supporting the Asia business unit, fostering strong and seamless partnerships with the Finance Shared Services team in Bangkok and Project Managers across the unit.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers and the Finance Shared Services Billing team to prepare monthly invoicing, including schedules, backup documentation, and mailing hardcopy invoices to clients.
• Monitor invoicing status and follow up with Project Managers and the Finance Shared Services Billing team as needed.
• Manage daily collections in HighRadius, ensuring timely updates and calling/sending reminders for Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan.
• Prepare receipts upon request from Project Managers and Clients.
• Conduct expense checking for Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan.
• Provide support to the Finance team on monthly accounting tasks, including cash book journals, petty cash, Purchase Order/Accounts Payable processing, and other Group reporting requirements.
• Perform document verification, data entry, filing, and general clerical duties, such as scanning and filing client invoices, forwarding supplier invoices to the Accounts Payable mailbox, and processing incoming cheques.
• Handle additional ad hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
You should possess the following qualifications and skills:
• Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Over five years of relevant experience in handling invoicing, administration, or clerical work.
• Strong numerical skills, highly meticulous, and well-organized, with a conscientious approach to tasks and a high level of initiative in the workplace.
• Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
• Self-motivated, hardworking, a strong sense of responsibility with a positive working attitude.
• Resourceful and proactive, with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn and go-beyond.
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese (Chinese reading required).
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., MS Office, SAP, Oracle).
• Adept at building and maintaining effective communication and relationships with key stakeholders, including the Finance Shared Services team, Project Managers, wider finance team, ensuring seamless collaboration.#LI-CM1
