The HSE Engineer acts as the representative of EtihadWE, ensuring that all project activities are executed in compliance with the organization's safety standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves proactive planning, supervision, and evaluation of safety performance across multiple projects, with a strong focus on risk management, contractor compliance, and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities : 

1. Submit the Project Plan for Safety Team within suitable time to inspect 
2. Submit the list of the projects that will be executed before reasonable time 
3. Supervise and ensure work is carried out as per the Site Safety Management Plan, including agreed Risk Assessment and Method Statement. and follow all EtihadWE guidelines.  
4. Conduct regular inspections and audit to evaluate contractor Safety Performance. 
5. Ensure contractors adhere to all statutory provisions according to EtihadWE guidelines. 
6. HSE performance reporting (KPI’s), including reporting, accident/incident investigations and corrective actions etc 

Qualifications: 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
  2. Minimum [X] years of experience in HSE roles within utility or infrastructure projects.
  3. Certification in NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is preferred.
  4. Strong knowledge of UAE safety regulations and EtihadWE standards is an advantage.
