About the business unit
We help conceive, drive, and implement transport solutions for cities, regions, and asset owners/operators around the globe. From preparing the business case and advising on related issues - such as revenue, procurement, and environmental legislation - to delivering the completed infrastructure and helping maintain it. Our planning, engineering, environmental and management skills cover the whole project cycle. We play a major role in developing and delivering the Global Transport Sector Strategy.
Overview of the role
We are currently looking to expand our team who specialise in the assessment of the construction of major infrastructure projects.
Working on a range of nationally significant projects such as East West Rail and High Speed 2, you will ensure that the necessary robust and detailed assessment of construction impacts is carried out to meet the requirements of the statutory planning process.
You will provide a key interface between design teams and construction and logistics experts, who prepare complex construction methodologies, and the transport planning and modelling teams that assess the traffic impacts.

Candidate specification
Fundamental to the role, you will be able to interpret highway and civil engineering construction designs and activities in programmes and help to summarise and translate the data into a format that can be used by those without engineering backgrounds.
