The Transit Systems Client & Reporting Lead will oversee the monitoring, reporting, and performance management for major transit programs.  

Key Responsibilities 

Performance Monitoring & Reporting 

  • Lead the design and implementation of the enhanced transit systems reporting framework. 

  • Develop and manage dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics to track service delivery, fleet utilization, facility performance and passenger experience. 

  • Resource management review, upscaling and demobilization 

  • Ensure timely delivery of PMO monthly and quarterly reporting requirements, providing clear, evidence-based updates to senior leadership and oversight bodies. 

Governance & Compliance 

  • Ensure program reporting processes comply with client, stakeholder and other regulatory requirements. 

  • Oversee the documentation of facility buildout service plans, fleet plans, workforce plans, and operational readiness testing & delivery. 

  • Provide assurance that reporting outputs are accurate, auditable, and aligned with operational commitments. 

  • Support the drafting of MOUs, funding agreements, and compliance documentation related to enhanced transit delivery. 

Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination 

  • Act as the reporting interface between client, stakeholder, partner agencies, and oversight committees. 

  • Provide authoritative input to elected officials, government agencies, and partners.  

  • Coordinate with venue operations, mobility hubs, and regional partners to ensure integrated reporting across the transport network. 

  • Support transparent communication with business, community, and public stakeholders through reporting outputs. 

Operational Readiness  

  • Oversee the development and refinement of the enhanced transit service plan, including fleet deployment, depot locations, and workforce allocation. 

  • Support operational readiness exercises, ensuring reporting systems are tested and resilient. 

  • Lead reporting operations, ensuring accurate, real-time data collection and dissemination to command centers and decision-makers. 

  • Monitor and evaluate enhanced transit effectiveness, adapting reporting strategies in real time to ensure reliable outcomes. 

 

Candidate Suitability 

The individual selected for this role brings: 

  • Extensive expertise in transport planning, traffic management, and large-scale mobility operations. 

  • Proven leadership in reporting, governance, and performance management for complex, multi-agency projects. 

  • Direct experience in previous successful mega event operations and other nationally significant infrastructure programs. 

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build consensus and deliver results in politically and socially complex environments. 

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver under high-pressure, time-sensitive conditions, ensuring operational excellence for events of global significance.

At Mott MacDonald, we provide a comprehensive benefit package that includes 401k, medical, dental and vision insurance, short-term/long-term disability, paid holidays, PTO, parental leave and company paid life insurance. 

The expected salary for this position is $220,000- $230,000

Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.
