About the Role
We are looking to appoint a self-motivated, energetic, highly skilled and commercially astute Project Manager that thrives on complex challenges and relationships to lead and administer the delivery of a diverse programme of on-going and future Built Environment projects within the Kingdom.
Objectives of the Role
Key responsibilities and duties are listed:
Managing the full life-cycle of the project and ensuring the project is successfully completed from beginning to end including project kick-off, designing, execution and completion, all whilst ensuring compliance with Mott MacDonald’s internal controls policies
Control, monitor and manage project costs and schedule, scope, quality of work and project controls,
Monitor the Key Performance Indicators for the projects,
Manage risks and mitigation measures identified by the project team,
Manage change that is identified by the project team,
Prepare monthly reports on project performance and progress for the client and internal stakeholders,
Support presentations of monthly progress to clients and internal stakeholders,
Supporting the management of bids through the full life cycle and ensuring the bid is successfully completed,
Monitor and review compliance with the requirements of the Group’s management system and report findings,
To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate the following competencies:
Good understanding of general project management principles.
Good understanding of planning and scheduling.
Ability to disseminate information to the wider project team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills
Dedicated team player with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels including external stakeholders.
Adopting a proactive approach towards complex tasks and overall delivery
Sound knowledge of professional and international standards
IT and standard industry software skills, including hands-on knowledge of BIM (if applicable) and other digital platforms
Continuously looking for innovations and improvements to manage workload and accomplish deliverables across teams and projects
Using interpersonal skills to build and nurture relationships and also creating effective working environments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with good report writing, presentation, analytical and computer skills
Able to manage/collaborate with multiple teams with diverse backgrounds on geographically and culturally diverse teams

Candidate specifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university; qualifications in Project and/ or Programme Management would be a distinct advantage
Experience in working in a design consultancy or similar environment preferred.
Professionally qualified or member of an internationally recognized professional body would be a distinct advantage or working towards a professional qualification.
Experience in organising and planning work.
A strong practical approach to project management with the ability to work in a collaborative and cooperative manner both internally and externally.
Experience working in multidisciplinary project teams.
Good commercial and contractual understanding.
Willingness to travel for short term assignments would be preferred.
Ability to communicate confidently and professionally in English with all levels of staff and clients.
