Your Purpose and Impact


As the Water and Environment Market Leader Australia, you will:

 

  • Champion strategic direction by working with the Regional Market Leader to identify priority sub-markets and align market strategy with our business plan. Your leadership will ensure decisions are coordinated, measurable, and impactful.
  • Drive client and market growth by building meaningful, multi-level relationships and advocating for our full spectrum of services. You will be a trusted advisor and a visible leader in Australia’s Water, Environment and Society sector.
  • Lead work-winning efforts by guiding long-term opportunity planning, strategic campaigns, and bids. You will make informed decisions that maximise return on investment and strengthen our market position.
  • Foster collaboration and inclusion by supporting Market, Client, and Practice Leaders. You will cultivate a culture of teamwork, engagement, and shared success.
  • Shape future capability by identifying talent needs, recruiting exceptional individuals, and supporting staff development in client engagement and business growth.
  • Deliver excellence in projects by acting as Project Director on key initiatives. You will monitor commercial performance, enhance strategy, and ensure profitability from the outset.
  • Invest in your growth through an individual development budget for technical training and career advancement. Partner with your People Manager to shape your journey.
  • Align with purpose-driven metrics that inform business planning and expectations, helping you stay focused and effective.

 

What You Bring

 

  • Extensive experience in the Australian infrastructure sector.
  • Senior relationships across client, industry partner, and contractor organisations, with a well-established market reputation, influence, and network.
  • Chartered status relevant to the Water and Environment Market and client requirements (CPEng, RPEQ, or equivalent).
  • Strong expertise in project management and business development, with a strategic mindset and commercial acumen.
  • A collaborative and inclusive leadership style, with a passion for mentoring, empowering others, and fostering team growth.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust and engagement with clients, partners, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required to support national initiatives and client engagement.
