The FAPA Committee plays a key role in shaping the engineering industry’s engagement with the US Federal government. It focuses on advancing ACEC’s advocacy efforts in the Federal market by promoting best practices in procurement, supporting infrastructure initiatives, and fostering collaboration between member firms and Federal agencies.

The committee also provides critical feedback on legislation, regulations and contracting procedures, helping to ensure that Federal procurement remains efficient, transparent, and aligned with industry standards.

As federal and defense market leader, Rick is responsible for creating and overseeing the US Federal business strategy, developing and expanding our Federal client relationships, and elevating our profile through a strengthened industry and market presence.

Commenting on his selection, Rick said, “It’s an honor to join the ACEC’s FAPA Committee. This appointment gives Mott MacDonald a valuable opportunity to help shape Federal procurement practices and offer meaningful feedback to the Federal government.”
