Integrated design
We carry out the engineering design for healthcare facilities from the master-planning stage through to the concept design, scheme and detailed technical design stages. This spans the full range of engineering design disciplines comprising civil structural, mechanical and electrical buildings services, ICT, transportation and sustainability aspects of the design.
We carry out these design services using the latest digital design techniques including BIM, with a focus on whole life value. We also offer related specialist design services such as fire engineering, energy modelling and healthy building design.
Commissioning and operation readiness
To ensure that newly developed facilities are fit for purpose and allow the mobilisation of clinical services, we support our clients with the technical commissioning of the buildings, developing and implementing commissioning and migration plans, decanting plans, technical sign-off of completed facilities and the identification of defects and snagging matter as well as providing soft landings support. In addition, we provide support in the setting up and commissioning of FM services.
