Mott MacDonald is a world leader in providing technical assistance for aid-funded programmes. We work with clients such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, EU, DFID, USAID amongst many others. We deliver programmes across all main development sectors in low to middle income countries.

Despite our considerable internal resources, we often require additional specialist resources to deliver such complex programmes. To do this we have established a Consultancy Services Team “CST”. Using a mix of formal and informal networks, they work closely with business units to identify, hire and manage these specialist staff.
To meet demand and the changing focus of aid, Mott MacDonald is increasing the capacity of the CST function by establishing a new team based in India. This team will be a integral part of the wider global CST network, responsible for sourcing individuals anywhere in the world.

Job Description

The CST / Recruitment Consultant is responsible for providing support to the CST India team, administrative tasks for the CST system and for responding to ad hoc requests from the CST Manager.
The Consultant will:

Track all incoming CVs.

Process CVs, management of electronic consultant files, and maintain consultant lists and data input to the databases.

Assist with maintenance and coordination of “yes/meet” lists for new prospective consultants and provide information to CST staff.
Ensure references are sought as appropriate.

Ensure compliance with internal and external data privacy.

Liaise with the Manager to implement status/category/code of consultants and ensure status is updated as necessary with a view to keeping database “live”

Work closely with rest of CST and IT in refining issues with the databases.

Format CVs for specific bid requirements.

Candidate Specification

Person should have 4-6 years of experience and with following required competencies :
- Experience of recruitment and managing a database of resources
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines
​- Advanced level competence in MS Office packages, including Word and Excel
​- Exceptional communication skills in both written and spoken English
​- Flexible approach to work
- Comfortable working in a constantly changing environment
- Positive, ‘can do’ attitude
- Team player
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Understands cultural differences and enjoys working in a multicultural environment
- An interest in development issues would be a benefit, though not essential.
