BIM Administrator

Job Description

Responsibilities will include:

  • Support the engineering teams with BIM 360 Docs administration
  • Ensure regular communications with teams and follow up on communications where required
  • Provide administrative and commercial support where required
  • Creating project folders, adding team members (with the correct levels) and documentation
  • Use BIM 360 Document Management for everyday operations, maintenance and quality control
  • Notify personnel of updated document versions and how to access them
  • Print and distribute documents as necessary
  • Work with documents and records across various departments, including human resources, marketing and operations
  • Ability to quickly understand and adapt to new processes; good with numbers
  • Ability to communicate well and work with various teams in UK and other areas
  • Experience working with many file types and computer savvy
  • Ability to find and preserve online documents ; quick to grasp general computer software and programs
  • Some understanding of construction documents
  • Collect, scan and upload documents following set procedures
  • Ensure all technical documents, such as reports, drawings and blueprints, are collected and registered in system
  • BIM 360 understanding would be a value plus, however if not aware then training can be provided on this

Candidate Specification

Qualifications as below:
  • Associate degree or higher in Commerce, Computer Science, Business Administration or similar field
  • Knowledge of Document Management systems and document capture/image capture systems
  • Relevant years’ experience in document or records management
  • Meticulous, results oriented and with an attention to detail and good at following up​
