The opportunity
Our Perth Advisory team is recruiting for a Senior/Principal Sustainability Consultant to deliver sustainability services for significant projects that shape the communities in which we live.
Sitting within the Environment, sustainability and Climate Change team, you will successfully lead the development, integration, and delivery of sustainability and decarbonisation strategies, and the implementation of sustainability opportunities for major infrastructure projects.

The opportunity
Our Perth Advisory team is recruiting for a Senior/Principal Sustainability Consultant to deliver sustainability services for significant projects that shape the communities in which we live.
Sitting within the Environment, sustainability and Climate Change team, you will successfully lead the development, integration, and delivery of sustainability and decarbonisation strategies, and the implementation of sustainability opportunities for major infrastructure projects.
Role responsibilities
- Take a lead role within the sustainability and climate change team to provide support to project teams across the business.
- Support/lead the successful integration and delivery of sustainability and carbon strategies, sustainability assessments (including industry ratings) with clients and on infrastructure projects.
- Preparation and review of technical reports and assessments required to deliver sustainability advisory services to a high standard, including resource and greenhouse gas modelling and calculations, life cycle assessments, climate change risk assessments, and recycled materials.
- Undertake business development for cross-sector sustainability services within transport, water, energy, and education sectors, and assist with proposal development.
- Support clients in carbon neutral and net zero strategies

- Qualifications in bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Management or similar.
- Thorough experience in sustainability and ideally carbon consulting or management
- Demonstrated experience applying the ISC Infrastructure Sustainability (IS) rating schemes and providing sustainability advice on infrastructure projects.
- Technical experience in carbon and greenhouse gas assessments, carbon offsetting, climate change risk assessments, and alternative construction materials.
- Interest or experience in emerging sustainability areas such as regenerative design circular economy, and digitisation.
- Passion about sustainability, with a focus on understanding client’s needs and driving solutions
