Mott MacDonald has appointed Dominic Thasarathar as Group digital delivery director. Dominic will have a key role in leading the company’s digital design and delivery practice and helping to incubate key innovative digital ideas.
Dominic has over 25 years’ experience managing technology and digital innovation to improve project, business and sustainable built-environment outcomes across five continents. He joins Mott MacDonald from Autodesk, where he held the role of long-term strategist and thought leader for the construction, energy and natural resources sectors. He built a worldwide executive thought leadership platform, providing foresight and advice to the industry’s senior leadership on the impact and management of emerging digital technologies.
Prior to this, Dominic held digital leadership roles in the industry, including CH2M Hill, as chief information officer for CLM Delivery Partner. Dominic was also previously head of project lifecycle systems at Laing O’Rourke, and Asia-Pacific manager of project systems at Bechtel.
