Mott MacDonald has appointed Ken Norbury as managing director of its UK and Europe built environment business. Ken succeeds Cathy Travers, who has become managing director of its UK and Europe regional business.
Ken joined Mott MacDonald in 1997 and has held positions including transport sector lead for the company’s built environment business, sub divisional manager and practice lead for rail. His project management experience covers large rail and civil engineering multidisciplinary schemes and is Mott MacDonald’s client account manager for Network Rail. Prior to Mott MacDonald, Ken held several positions at AMEC Civil Engineering, including senior geotechnical engineer.
Commenting on Ken’s appointment, Cathy Travers said: “I’m delighted that Ken will be leading our built environment business, after two decades leading successful projects at Mott MacDonald. With over 30 years’ experience in feasibility, outline and detailed designs for a broad range of projects he has all the skills to do a wonderful job.”
Mott MacDonald’s UK and Europe built environment business is based across all its offices in the region. With experience across all sectors the company offers a wide range of design, planning and advisory consultancy services including civil, structural, architectural and building services engineering across the whole built environment sector for transport, commercial, retail, education, health, defence and sports.
