Mott MacDonald has appointed Philip Oxley as a technical director in its Australian advisory business. Based in New South Wales, Philip will be responsible for leading the consultancy’s project, programme and commercial management teams on some of the state’s largest infrastructure projects.
Philip has 23 years’ experience working in diverse leadership roles across areas such as infrastructure, transportation and defence in both the public and private sector. He joins Mott MacDonald from HS2 Ltd, Europe’s largest civil engineering project, where he spent the last three years working in their risk directorate. During this time, he led the UK Government’s first transport infrastructure efficiency strategy which delivered over £10 billion of capital savings.
