Mott MacDonald has been ranked 17th in The Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers in recognition of its continued dedication to workplace diversity. The Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers is a definitive list of UK-based organisations that promote inclusion across all protected characteristics, throughout each level of employment.
Powered by The Excellence in Diversity Awards, The Inclusive Top 50 UK Employers is a dynamic and exclusive resource that has identified the most inclusive companies across the UK. Demonstrating the promotion of all strands of diversity including age, disability, gender, LGBT, race, faith and religion, the list focuses on representation at management, senior, executive and board level.
Compiled by a dedicated panel of judges, the list has been collated based on each organisation’s performance in a range of areas within the diversity arena. Organisations featured have provided sufficient evidence for a range of topics including recruitment procedures, training and a host of diversity-related initiatives.

Mott MacDonald’s inclusion on the Top 50 UK Employers list follows recognition from other parts of the industry for promoting equality, diversity and inclusion. In May 2016 the consultancy won New Civil Engineer’s Diversity Champion of the Year award and was a finalist in the same category at the Association for Consultancy and Engineering’s annual awards. Mott MacDonald is also a Best Diversity Initiative finalist at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development’s People Management awards and shortlisted at Business in the Community’s Race Equality awards for Inclusive Cultures.
