Mott MacDonald has secured places on 13 lots of Transport for London’s (TfL) latest transport planning and environmental framework as part of London’s green and just recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. The framework will run for three years with an option to extend by 12 months.
In addition to winning places on all the transport planning lots, the consultancy won places on new lots including: Green Infrastructure and Biodiversity; Climate Change and Adaptation; Energy and Climate Change Mitigation; and Health, Equalities and Socio-Economic Assessment.
Neil Henderson, Mott MacDonald’s TfL key account director said: “As we emerge from the pandemic, TfL wants to facilitate and enable a green recovery. This is in line with the UK government’s ambition to ‘build back better’ after COVID-19 to create a more sustainable and inclusive economy. This appointment provides us with a great opportunity to not only continue to work closely with TfL, but also to deliver measurable social outcomes that will benefit communities across London as the capital gets back on its feet.”
Mott MacDonald has worked on the London transport network for over 130 years. This appointment maintains the consultancy’s continuous success in providing a range of professional services to TfL, having recently been last year to TfL’s Commercial Services and Project, Programme and Portfolio Management frameworks.
