Mott MacDonald has appointed David Beare as a divisional director for aviation. David will be responsible for managing the consultancy’s UK aviation business as well as coordinating the Group’s strategic development in the sector globally.
David joined Mott MacDonald in 2002 and has held numerous roles within the consultancy, most recently acting as head of transaction and business advisory where he advised on over US$73 billion of airport infrastructure assets in 17 countries worldwide. David‘s experience ranges from the delivery of mega projects such as Heathrow Terminal 5 to advising on airport acquisitions, concession structuring and regulatory reviews around the world. He currently sits on Airports Council International Europe’s economics committee and previously sat on the board of Constructing Excellence, an industry body set up to share and promote best practice in the construction industry.
Alan Regan has also joined Mott MacDonald as a projects director. Alan moves from AECOM, where he was technical director for aviation in Australia. He has extensive international experience, including projects at Hong Kong International Airport, Beijing Capital International Airport and Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. Alan has also previously served on the board of the British Aviation Group (BAG), as well as chairing their airports consultants group.
