“I have just completed my Bachelor’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Auckland University of Technology and have recently joined the Built Environment team as a Graduate Electrical Engineer. I have had previous work experience designing autonomous machines and installing HVAC systems. I have also had the opportunity to intern at Vector last summer where I worked on the Vector Lights project and various solar, electric vehicle and battery energy storage system projects. In my spare time I teach and manage the Mt Eden Se Jong Taekwondo branch, I also volunteer weekly at my local church C3 West Auckland, where I oversee the Young Adult ministry and management teams. I am super excited to take this next step in my engineering career here at Mott MacDonald!”- Kevan (Electrical Engineer, New Zealand)
Summer Intern Program – Australia and New Zealand
Each year, we select students across Australia and New Zealand with relevant degree studies for our paid summer intern program.
If you want to have your skills extended and your world expanded, then this program could be the perfect start to your career.
Our internship program runs for six to twelve weeks and is a great way to apply your learning in the real world, test your technical skills, and get a taste of what it’s like to be a part of our global consulting business.
The Summer Intern Program includes working on live projects, training workshops, peer connection, coaching, mentoring and networking. We think you’ll love it!
“After starting as a buildings intern in 2016, I joined the IT team in Adelaide while I complete my studies. I have a fascination with computational design and automation and what it means for the future structural design. Idols include Santiago Calatrava, Zaha Hadid and Frei Otto. Outside of work I’m a mad footy fan and an avid snowboarder.” - Thomas (Information Technology Intern, Australia)
