Do you have graduate opportunities outside of the UK?
Graduate positions in other countries are advertised on our early careers page or you can contact one of our local offices. Details can be found on our contact page and you can use the filter option to find the office you require.
Can I apply for more than one graduate role?
In short - yes but we don't recommend it. While our system allows you to apply for more than one position, we prefer that you apply for the role you are most interested in. By applying for multiple positions you imply that you are not committed to one particular area. You should be able to establish from the information provided which role you meet the criteria for but more importantly which area matches your skill set and your career aspirations. Please also remember that you can contact us if you're still unsure.
When would you want me to start and what happens when I join?
We have fixed start dates for each month between July and September. To make sure you settle in when you join us you will be assigned a buddy who will assist you with the induction process to the company and your office. You will also be assigned an experienced mentor who is there to supervise all aspects of your professional development.
Do you offer a relocation package when I join?
We don't offer a financial relocation package, however, most offices offer to cover bed and breakfast costs for up to two weeks. Our graduate community is also available to offer advice if you are unfamiliar with the area you are moving to.
Who should I address my cover letter to?
Please address your cover letter to the early careers recruitment team. Use your covering letter as an opportunity to introduce yourself to us. We recommend you write between 3-4 paragraphs. Please refer to our application tips for more advice on applying.
Can I save my application as a draft?
Yes! If you start your application and want to save it for later you can save as draft and it will be kept in your account for 30 days. To get back to it you need to log in to your account which you can access via the sign in page.
If you experience any problems please contact the early careers team on:
What are the minimum requirements to apply to Mott MacDonald as a graduate?

If I do not pass the online assessments can I reapply?
Your test scores for the online assessments are valid for the recruitment period of September 2018 to August 2019, therefore you will not be able to reapply again for this period. However, you are welcome to apply for one of our schemes next year.
