Biography
Aimee Barwick is a senior infrastructure and business leader with more than 20 years of experience across New Zealand and North America. She joined our executive board in 2026.
Aimee has held executive roles in regional business management and infrastructure advisory, bringing deep expertise in governance, growth and complex program delivery. She is known for leading multidisciplinary teams and turning strategy into practical outcomes for clients, communities and organizations.
Before joining Mott MacDonald in 2017, Aimee spent 15 years in local government in New Zealand, specializing in transport, water and urban development. She has led major organizational transitions, advised on public-sector initiatives and helped shape delivery and funding models for significant infrastructure programs.
Aimee has extensive board and committee experience, including service on our Shareholders’ Committee, New Zealand executive and global advisory board. She has also held senior governance roles in New Zealand sport, including chairing regional football organizations through merger and restructuring. Across these roles, she is recognized for her strategic judgement, collaborative leadership and strong focus on sustainable growth.
