Biography
Christopher is an MSc qualified environmental scientist with a specialisation in air quality and over 18 years of consultancy experience. Chris leads Mott MacDonald’s energy environment team which focuses on supporting developers, network operators, contractors and lenders throughout a project lifecycle, covering feasibility and optioneering, consenting, construction and operational support.
Chris has supported large environmental permitting applications, delivered key inputs to development consent orders (DCOs) and undertaken environmental aspects of due diligence on behalf of buyers, sellers and lenders. He has managed a variety of infrastructure projects from small-scale, mixed-use developments in the UK to large international environmental and social impact assessments to a range of international standards, such as the Equator Principles and the IFC Performance Standards. Chris has also been an expert witness for multiple transport projects in the UK on behalf of Highways England as part of the DCO process.
