Biography
David Taylor is the hydropower market leader at Mott MacDonald. In his role, he provides expertise and experience to clients in the development and delivery of hydropower and pumped storage projects. With over 39 years of international experience across hydropower, water, mining and major infrastructure, he has deep expertise in project leadership, technical advisory and construction support for complex underground and surface works.
David has advised on projects across Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, and North and South America, supporting clients from early-stage studies and feasibility to detailed design, procurement and construction. He combines technical depth with practical delivery experience to help shape resilient, future-ready energy infrastructure.
