Rosa Diez

Rosa Diez is among Europe’s leading tunnelling experts and one of only a handful of senior female tunnelling engineers worldwide. With more than 30 years’ experience in the design and management of major international infrastructure projects, she is passionate about designing tunnels that not only connect roads or railways but also improve communities.

Rosa has led multidisciplinary teams on landmark projects including HS2, Crossrail (Elizabeth Line), Melbourne Metro and Dublin Metro North. She is a recognised industry leader, sharing her expertise as a judge for the New Civil Engineer Awards, a lecturer at the University of Birmingham and a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers.
