Biography
Leading Mott MacDonald’s work in Malaysia, Yak Shin Wang is responsible for shaping our growth and strengthening our presence in the local market. As country manager, he oversees strategy, client relationships and the delivery of high-quality advisory, engineering and management services.
With extensive experience in the planning, design and delivery of major highway and rail projects across Malaysia, the United States, Australia and New Zealand, Yak Shin draws on a global perspective to address complex transport challenges. He works closely with clients to navigate technical, operational and delivery considerations across multidisciplinary schemes, bringing a practical approach focused on safety, constructability and long-term performance. In his role, Yak Shin is committed to strengthening local capability, developing talent, supporting infrastructure that contributes to sustainable economic growth and improved outcomes for communities.
