Your Opportunity 

Mott MacDonald's Project, Program, and Commercial Management team has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager. You will drive delivery of multidisciplinary work packages within a major infrastructure delivery program spanning transportation and civil infrastructure and related specialist services. 

You will manage project scope, programme and budget, supporting strong commercial outcomes while maintaining high-quality delivery and client satisfaction. Working with Project Principals, technical teams and external partners, you will drive consistent delivery, strengthen commercial performance and support delivery alongside a highly engaged and effective team. 

• Lead work packages of varying scale, ensuring delivery meets or exceeds client expectations and aligns with agreed scope, schedule and budget. 

• Support Program Managers and Directors in the delivery of major design and construction projects. 

• Establish and maintain project controls covering scheduling, risk, cost, change and reporting. 

• Monitor financial and commercial performance against project targets and implement corrective action where required. 

• Ensure compliance with Mott MacDonald's project governance, risk management and quality assurance frameworks, as well as relevant external regulations. 

• Coordinate multidisciplinary internal teams and external partners, including architects, engineers, planners, environmental specialists and other technical experts. 

• Build strong client relationships and solve delivery challenges using sound judgement, experience and expertise. 

• Support the development of junior colleagues through mentoring, knowledge sharing and participation in team discussions. 

About You 

• Relevant tertiary or vocational qualifications, with progress towards chartership where applicable to your profession. 

• Experience in a project environment, applying sound technical knowledge and professional judgement to lead small to medium-sized projects. 

• Demonstrated project management experience across scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality and commercial performance. 

• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external delivery partners on complex infrastructure projects. 

• A strong client focus, with the ability to contribute to proposals, bids and the identification of further opportunities. 

• Confident communication skills and the ability to produce clear, logical written communication and presentations in English. 

• A collaborative leadership style, with the ability to motivate, mentor and develop others. 

• A commitment to health and safety, quality delivery, continuous learning and innovative, value-effective project practices.
