Your Opportunity  

Mott MacDonald is growing, and we’re hiring a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor to help deliver the talent behind major infrastructure, engineering and project delivery across Australia. Sydney is our preferred location for this role; however, we are also open to considering candidates based in Brisbane or Adelaide.

 

About the Role

As a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, you will deliver proactive, strategic talent solutions that support business growth. Partnering closely with leaders, you’ll shape workforce outcomes by building strong talent pipelines and delivering high-quality hires across a complex, high-volume and diverse portfolio.

 

You’ll partner with senior leaders, shape hiring strategy, and drive outcomes in a competitive market, whilst enhancing the overall candidate experience and contributing to key talent initiatives and projects.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

No two days will be the same, but here’s a snapshot of what you’ll be responsible for:

 

  • Deliver end-to-end recruitment across a diverse and complex portfolio, partnering closely with hiring managers to drive strong hiring outcomes
  • Provide practical, delivery-focused recruitment support to stakeholders, offering market insight and guidance to progress hiring outcomes
  • Lead proactive sourcing strategies for critical and hard-to-fill roles, leveraging LinkedIn and detailed market mapping to identify, engage and convert top talent
  • Support leaders to make informed, timely hiring decisions that balance speed, quality, and candidate experience
  • Create a positive and professional candidate experience through clear, responsive, and transparent communication
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team (including mobility, advisory, and talent development) to ensure a seamless candidate-to-employee journey
  • Contribute to early talent initiatives, including graduate and intern recruitment and attraction campaigns
  • Get involved in projects that improve recruitment processes, tools, and employer brand
  • Champion diversity, equity and inclusion through thoughtful and inclusive hiring practices

      

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience managing recruitment in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with the ability to prioritise, deliver at pace, and continuously improve ways of working
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, challenge and drive outcomes with hiring managers
  • Advanced proactive sourcing capability, including LinkedIn and market mapping for critical and hard-to-fill roles
  • Exceptional candidate management skills, delivering a high-quality, engaging experience throughout the hiring process
  • High level of adaptability, with the ability to pivot quickly and remain effective in a changing and evolving environment
  • Creativity in sourcing and attraction strategies, finding new ways to engage talent and solve hiring challenges in demand driven markets
  • A delivery-focused mindset, with a track record of progressing roles and securing hires in complex or competitive markets
