Your Opportunity 

 

Due to strong growth and an exciting pipeline of projects, our Buildings team has an exciting opening for a Senior/Principal Civil Engineer in the Brisbane office. You will be joining a diverse and passionate team with a proven track record delivering major projects across Queensland.

 

As a Senior/Principal Civil Engineer in the buildings space, you will be working on significant urban development, public realm and precinct type projects that shape the communities in which we live. With a focus on social and environmental outcomes, our team works across a range of sectors including arts and culture, commercial, civic, education, transport, defence, and sports.  You will have the opportunity to

 

  • Support and or lead project teams on a variety of Civil design, Local Government and Urban Development projects.
  • Work within multidisciplinary teams to manage and deliver a wide range of engineering projects to specified and relevant standards
  • Working closely with other designers to create and update project 12d models as well as producing project deliverables using AutoCAD.
  • Review designs and documentation prepared by others and verify their compliance to relevant standards and design guidelines and project specific requirements
  • Collaborative with the Project Manager, Design Manager and Client to provide regular project updates

 

About You 

 

  • Relevant qualification in civil engineering or civil design and be a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ)
  • Previous experience working on subdivision and urban development projects;
  • Good understanding of design requirement such as Austroads, Council's design guidelines, stormwater Drainage Design etc
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • Skilled in one or more civil design software tools such as 12d and AutoCAD
