Job Description:

 

The individual will be a part of the Tax Centre of Excellence (CoE) based in Powai, Mumbai and report to the Head of Tax Compliance and Reporting.  They would need to build automation solutions for the tax team.

We are looking for professionals with experience on Alteryx and Power BI to join the Tax C&R team and build a strong career in this fast-growing field.

  • Primary skills – Alteryx, Advanced Excel & Power BI
  • Secondary skills – SQL / VBA
  • The candidate will build tax automation solutions and applications for the group tax team to automate complex processes in direct and indirect taxes.

Duties and Responsibilities of Tax Technologist-

 

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Alteryx to extract, transform and load data from ERP and various sources.
  • Must be advanced in Microsoft Excel, including but not limited to nested formulas, pivot tables, lookup functions, excel modeling, preparing report and dashboards
  • Create, update, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports using PowerBI with different data sources to visualize and communicate key metrics and trends.
  • Able to write complex queries with multiple joins to automate/manipulate data with Alteryx.
  • Will have to work in partnership with the other IT teams and stakeholders concerning the accuracy of data and efficiency of processes.

 

Candidate Specification:

 

  • 4-6 years of professional experience in Alteryx, VBA & advanced excel
  • Proficiency in creating Alteryx apps and gallery-oriented workflows.
  • Must have working experience with PowerBI dashboards development
  • Preferred to have an understanding of one or more databases (SQL, MySQL, Mongo DB, etc.)
  • Experience of developing VBA & Advance excel based automation solutions.
  • Must have working experience of write complex excel VBA code.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to research and troubleshoot technical problems
  • Certification in Alteryx and Power BI will be a plus.
  • A degree in commerce background is preferred.
  • In-house experience an advantage
  • Strong project management, organizational and communication skills

 

To qualify for the role, you must have (certification & Experience):

BE/BTech degree in IT/Computer Science or BCA or BSc degree in Computer Science or any graduation degree with Analytics Course Certifications
