Mott MacDonald has appointed two industry experts to lead its energy transition business in Germany.
Peter Grossmann has extensive experience in the energy industry, with senior leadership roles in growth and business development, engineering, R&D, customer service and manufacturing with Siemens, Siemens Energy and RCM Technologies in the US, France and Germany.
Commenting on his appointment, Peter, said: “I am very proud to be joining an outstanding team whose competencies, innovative power and motivation, will play a key role in driving the modernisation and transformation of energy generation and transmission in Germany and Europe, providing valuable services to our clients and society.”
Dr Thorsten Rösner brings more than 25 years of international consulting, business development and operational leadership experience across environmental and engineering services. He has held senior roles with TAUW, WSP, Bureau Veritas and AECOM, leading multidisciplinary teams, managing business units and developing services for international and corporate clients across Germany and wider European markets.

Based out of the global engineering, development and management consultancy’s newly opened Dusseldorf office, Peter and Thorsten will develop and grow the firm’s energy business in the country, which includes generation and electricity networks activity.
